GA design is a multidisciplinary architecture & design practice based in Mumbai. Founded in 1999 as Goregaoker Architects, a partnership firm of Rajan & Sachin Goregaoker, the work at GA design manifests creativity through well-choreographed architecture & interior design. At GA design, we craft services for Live, Work and Play. From multi-family residential communities, luxury residences, redevelopment housing projects, to single-family luxury villas, workplaces and hospitality spaces, the studio’s portfolio is diverse. We strive hard to achieve the most appropriate, efficient and cost-effective, yet aesthetic solution for each scale. Rajan graduated from Sir J J College of Architecture in 1990. With extensive experience in residential, commercial buildings and township projects as well as interiors of luxury homes and offices in and around Mumbai, Rajan is recognized as one of Mumbai’s leading architects.
Associated with some of the region’s most prominent builders and industrialists in the field of architecture and design, Rajan brings together the design expertise of both architecture and interior design in projects successfully. Responsible for steering the firm’s overall strategic objectives, he has collaborated with multi-disciplinary design teams on projects across varied scales for over 20 years.
With a profound attention to detail and a focus on simplistic, yet elegant and artistic solutions to complex briefs, his technical expertise and pragmatic design approach, is the reason behind the success of the some of the landmark buildings in Mumbai.
Sachin graduated from Sir J J College of Architecture Mumbai in 1994. A partner in GA design, he has over 20 years of diverse experience in architecture and interior design. Sachin has a large body of work to his credit including residential & commercial developments for Mumbai’s leading builders & developers.
Sachin’s projects range from multi-storeyed buildings, to large residential townships in and around Mumbai and his designs reflect the current trends of distinctive cosmopolitan architecture. His expertise lies in redevelopment architecture, with a portfolio that includes some of the most prominent buildings in Mumbai. Sachin’s work is characterized by his focus towards research and innovation with special emphasis on the ability of working within parameters governed by changing guidelines.
In addition to architecture, Sachin also has extensive experience in designing interiors for luxury residences and clubhouses. Leading a creative studio of young and dynamic talent, he believes in establishing collaborative working relationships to build a strong foundation for success.
Ritu Goregaoker finished her professional studies in Interior design in the year 1996 from Sophia Polytechnic. Soon after, she worked with several architectural and interior design firms to gain experience in Interior design and Architecture in the residential as well as commercial sectors. She joined GA design in 2001 and over the years has done enormous work designing high end personal residences, commercial office interiors etc. Whilst heading the interior design team at GA design, she has designed interiors for several luxury apartments as well as commercial spaces.
Ritu’s skills lie in understanding the clients’ personal requirements, soft furnishings, co-ordinating the colour palette, exploring a number of interior design themes right from classical to eclectic and the modern. Developing a close and permanent bond with all her clients, understanding their vision and treating their abode with the respect that it deserves is her forte. Further, she looks at residential design not only from all possible professional aspects, but also with a deep personal interest resulting in beautifully designed, livable homes. Re-defining design and delivery through her collaborative approach across all phases of design and construction, her expertise lies in ensuring smooth delivery while maintaining design excellence. Ritu’s work is recognized in leading interior design publications.
Shami studied interior design at Sir J J School of Arts as well as the Nirmala Niketan Polytechnic in Mumbai. At GA design, she works on interior design projects of luxury apartments and clubhouses in Mumbai.
Shami is a certified colour consultant and is equipped with extensive knowledge on interior styling as well as colour and lighting concepts. She combines this knowledge with a keen eye for latest design trends to create integrated urbane designs. Shami’s design approach compliments the research-based ethos of GA design.
Shami’s professional experience also includes design strategies, business development and a special focus on authoring design stories. She writes frequently for India’s leading publications, and works with a young and enterprising team to encourage attention to detail.
